Trent Reznor Shares Stems of Songs From The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
First off I’m a little upset about the fact that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross failed in getting an academy award for this soundtrack. One of the main factors that influenced my absolute love for this film was the soundtrack itself. It’s PERFECT! It brought a deep, mysterious, and cold atmosphere to the film that I couldn’t help but to adore. Even though I saw the original film, and regardless of the soundtrack, I still preferred the American adaptation… My apologies to all those film buffs out there that I’m sure totally disagree with me.
To the point:
Trent has released stems to some of the songs from the score. They’ll be available for download through March 31st via Tunecore. I’m actually pretty ecstatic about this news! On the night I saw the film for the second time I got home and gave a few attempts in recreating the very first selection played in the film (Aphelion). Although this particular piece’s stems aren’t being offered to the public I’m glad to have the opportunity to get my hands on anything. Click that link above to get your hands on the stems as well, and check out Aphelion below.
