Daedelus - Tailor-Made feat. Milosh (TOKiMONSTA Remix) by Ninja Tune & Big Dada
Our favorite prolific West Coast beat-auteur Daedelus is back with a new album. Ninjatune describes Bespoke as “the work of a master tailor, for whom craftsmanship and quality is every bit as important, but no more important, than standing out from the crowd.” It comes out April 26 in the US and April 11 in...

Moog's New Taurus Bass Synth
Bob Moog’s original Taurus Bass synth was a favorite of Rush, The Police, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Phil Collins, Asia, Weezer and many others. The Taurus has been out of production since 1981, but Moog announced at NAMM 2010 that a new version of “the fattest synth ever” is slated to hit stores early this year.
The New Taurus Bass Pedals carry a list price of $1995, and less...

Plastikman - Sickness
I just came across this a few minutes ago. I’ve yet to listen to it but I’m sure it’s pretty good. I looked up his discography and he seems to have done alot starting his career around ‘93. This is part of my attempt in discovering some early artists… Mainly from the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Check him out and pick up the free download below.

2/17/11... The Inventor is coming to my town yet...
Lotus formed at a Mennonite college that had banned on-campus dancing as late as the 1980’s, and has been creatively fusing electronic dance music with instrumental post-rock for the past eight years. Armed with a massive light rig and one of the most energetic shows on the circuit, Lotus was a go-to act for late night festival slots this past summer, performing at ROTHBURY, Summercamp, Camp...

Something about moi....
I’m meticulously obsessive about any and everything that has to do with music in any shape or form whether it be something as simple as me organizing my library to something as complicated as making a track. It’s a trait about myself that I’ve grown to love. Many say they love music or that it’s their “life” but in all honesty most of these people don’t...

Acroplane Release of Barry Lynn's (aka Boxcutter)...
“I made Koss, 98 Loop and Rhodes Draft in 1998 right after I got my first PC for doing tunes on. I was heavily into DJ Shadow so I wanted to try putting tracks together from samples of old vinyl, which I already had a decent sized collection of thanks to my Dad. I also spent ages going through all the record shops in Belfast looking for old jazz and soundtracks and stuff like that to...

Resident Advisor #243: Jonas Kopp
Jonas Kopp’s releases have been bubbling under for a number of years now—2010 was the year they boiled over. A more dark and considered ambience ran through the Argentinean producer’s appearances on Stroboscopic Artefacts, Ostgut Ton and Perc Trax last year, while Kopp continued to build upon the housier end of his range with a second EP for Belgium label Curle Recordings. Promoters...
